Bertoxxulus' Hand Grips Tighter Across Norrath

Rumors abound the cities of Norrath, and with each whispered word, an unspoken name is heard, but never in the open. 'The Unclean', 'The Bringer of Pox', 'Corpse-Friend', and 'Lord of Rot'. All of these refer to the God Bertoxxulus, The Plague-Bringer, and the recent plagues that abound which are rumored to be his works. Refugees have been flocking to the Temple of Life in Qeynos for protection from what they believe to be the wrath of an angry god. In the Karanas plains, rabid animals wander in bloodlust stalking and killing any traveller they come across. A sickly green mist fills the air in the area of the Karanas which is quickly becoming known as 'The Land of Plague'. Bantin was one of the first few of the horde who came across the plague-ridden lands on his way to Qeynos.

In his own words:

'It was a nice sunny aftahnoon, me decided to take a trip on the boat from Butcherblock to Freeport. Me main reason for going was to help out a fella guild member, but he didn't ask for help again aftah me got there. So me travelled to High Hold for some hunting Folks there wasa talking abouts a plague happening in North Karana. Me being a Gnome an all, me curiosity got the best of me, so me went to investigate. 'M'lady Jynks, being the nice person she is, said she'd come with me to check things out. We searched the lands for clues to this plague, we founds a farmer lady who told us a bit abouts the plague. We founds out that these group of folks called the Bloodsabers might be behind the plagues. We founds out that Bertoxxulous is behind the weatha changes and sick animals that now roams the areas of North Karana, East and West Karana. Since the group of folks called the Bloodsabers are from Qeynos, or so me was told, Jynks and me went to investigate Qeynos.
Unfortunately, that is were this story ends for the moment, we still have some investigating to do.'
